Weed Treatment Update - May, 2011

Our contract for weed treatment has been renewed for another three years with Professional Lake Management.

Weed treatments will have begun, likely, prior to the delivery of this newsletter.  You should have received a treatment notification with your dues invoice.

Please let us know if you did not receive an invoice - we'll be happy to send you one.
As in the past, the success of previous years' programs have left us in a maintenance mode and we are unlikely to need anything beyond spot treatments in problem areas.

As a reminder, our weed treatment program is NOT designed to eradicate all weeds.  It is only designed to control the non-native invader species of Eurasian Watermilfoil (and Curly Leaf Pondweed).

A healthy lake (of our trophic state) will maintain a population of native species.  Thus, we should always have weeds in our lake!

Please contact us if you see a problem on the lake.
